News From The Highchair
Last week, I gave Isaac a fruit puff for the first time. They are these little cereal bites made by Gerber that dissolve in a baby's mouth. He tried the strawberry apple flavor and thought they were quite yummy.
He's been practicing picking them up by himself, too. Look at that concentration! LOL
Once he catches one, he studies it carefully and then will clench his fist closed as if to hoard it. No self-feeding yet. He holds onto the cereal bites and doesn't let go of them unless I pry them out.
We've been working sippy cups as well."Wait a minute... you want me to get a drink myself?"
He's doing pretty well for a baby who rarely gets bottles (one in the last month). I have to help him hold it the right direction. But, he's learning and he LOVES drinks of water.
I made a new concoction of fresh green beans and mashed red potatoes. While Isaac was excited about it...
it turns out that he wasn't a fan at all.
