A Rough Night

Ugh. I had a horrible night trying to sleep. No matter what I did, I just couldn't get comfortable. I went from being hot to being annoyed with Josh's snoring to having back aches. At 2:06 a.m., I finally went downstairs to where the AC is stronger and fell asleep on the couch. I'm feeling okay this morning, so I must have managed a few hours. Little Isaac seems to get excited when I toss and turn and he starts to move. Then, I lay there and feel him and start thinking all about him... until I can't fall back asleep because all I have on my mind is "baby stuff."

Today, Dan, Kristi, and little Aveline will be coming to visit. Aveline is our 3 month old niece. Should be fun! We love any baby practice we can get and she's such a good baby. You can see Kristi's blog in the links to the right.

Very big, pregnant belly and a HAPPY Josh

Here I am on the day we found out we are having a son. I'm so big already! I am thinking Isaac is going to be a big boy.

It's a boy!! We are going to have a son!

Well, our big ultrasound was today and it was quite obvious that we are indeed having a little boy. He flashed us twice and the nurse took pictures. Everything looks great! He is a healthy boy. We saw him stick his tongue out, wave to us, and try and kick the nurse away. The nurse isn't sure whether my due date will change or not, but I am measuring further a long that what they thought. If they do change the due date, the new one will be Dec. 5th.

I'm posting some ultrasound pictures next and will try to explain what they are the best that I can. It's amazing how cool it was to see our little boy moving on screen.

We enjoyed calling family to share our good news and then had a nice lunch out to a local steakhouse.

BOY or GIRL??

Okay, so I think I'm officially going to go CRAZY these last fews days while I'm anxiously waiting to find out whether we are having a boy or girl! We find out this Wednesday at my ultrasound... July 27th. It's crazy to think that by this time next week, we will know if we are having a son or daughter! Just that fact is making me become soooo impatient! I just want Wednesday to get here already! I'm also getting nervous wondering if our little chipmunk will cooperate and show us their "goods" or not. LOL

So, what's your guess? Boy or girl? Cast your guesses here!

The Ever-changing Belly

For those of you haven't seen, my belly has grown quite in a bit in the last few months! The above pictures are from 10 weeks, 14 week/5days, 17 weeks, and 18 weeks/5 days. I will post a new pic next week so you can all giggle at my belly. :) I'm really suprised that I'm showing this much so early because I haven't gained that much weight yet.

Welcome!

So, I've started this blog to document my first pregnancy... and hopefully, I will continue on with it to share pics and news of our little one afterwards. Bear with me as I try to figure this all out!

In just 6 days, Josh and I will find out if we having a boy of girl! We are so anxious and excited! Once we find out, I'll rename this blog to include our new little kiddo. My due date is December 14th!
