Doctor Woes
Without whining too badly, let me just tell you that I'm frustrated. We have to find a new doctor. With great sadness, we are saying goodbye to Dr. M, our family doctor in town. Our insurance company is at odds with the local hospital and anyone affiliated with them. So, I've been on a search... asking for advice and referrals from those I know nearby. Which hospital do I choose to be affiliated with now (lots to choose from, being close to the capital city)? Do I choose a pediatrician for Isaac or another family doctor? Whew, it's exhausting... and the whole time, all I can think about is how much we LOVE Dr. M and wish we could keep him. Once figuring out what sort of criteria Josh and I had for my search, I begrudingly set out on a mission. I *think* I've found a pretty good place for our family. It's a family practice in nearby Westerville and Isaac will have his 9 month well-baby check-up there next month. But, I will miss Dr. M.... whah, whah... :(

That sucks ): I know when you find a doc you like and then have to change, you just wonder if you will get the same treatment? Will you like this other one the same?
I wish you luck with the new Dr. I hope he/she is everything the other Dr. was and more.
Oh, gosh, I hope you like the new guy. We've had trials, too, so lots of sympathy from this corner. Our insurance has changed a couple of times, and here in NJ, docs are leaving the state right, left, and center. I've had two internists and my OB/GYN leave in the last couple of years.....argh...
