Good Luck!
Thumbs up to Josh... great job! I hope you are happy with the new job! I'm sure it will be great!
We spent the whole day in Bowling Green at Josh's dad Mike and Stepmom Brenda's house... Isaac was pretty well behaved. He did get a little fussy because his nap schedule was a bit off. But, overall.. he had a good time visiting everyone and we did, too! Enjoy the pictures!
A bit sleepy here... but, Grandpa W was so happy to have two of his grandkids in his arms! Isabella is 19 months now and is as cute as ever.
I took a series of pictures for Josh's dad and then created a card for him (from the baby). Isaac was a ham holding the sign and we even had him put a handprint in the card as his signature.
It was a big hit. :)
Mike, Heather (Josh's sister), and Josh
Isaac's Great Grandpa P came for lunch, too!
So did Brenda's sister, Cindy.... she enjoyed spending time with the baby.
I loved getting to see our adorable niece, Isabella.
She had fun playing with the toys Grandma and Grandpa W have for the kids.
She was also very interested in "Baby Isaac." Look at him checking her out, too! LOL
They were like magnets. Isaac almost flopped himself right on top of her to get a better look. Hee, hee!
It was a great visit. Isaac enjoyed visiting with everyone and as you can see, they were happy to see him, too. Here he is with his Aunt Heather.
Okay, folks... more videos! Actually, almost ALL of the little videos I've taken of Isaac over the past month. If you go to the right side of your screen, it's at the bottom of the links and it's called "Videos." I really just did this for the grandparents. Oh, and for our family and friends who live far away and haven't met the baby yet.
For whatever reason, Isaac is a huge fan of my singing. Anyone who knows me know that I cannot sing. But, alas... my baby adores my voice (even if I'm pitchy).
As Isaac is getting older, he's starting to resemble his dad more and more... a mini Joshie with mommy's eyes, if you will. ;) Big news I've been meaning to post... First of all, Congrats to our neighbors Jenn & Chris on the birth of their baby boy, Christopher James.
Also, a big Congrats to Josh's brother Dan and his wife Kristi! They are expecting baby #2 this September! Lastly, a big Congrats to our neighbors John & Michelle. They are also expecting baby #2 (in July) and we can't wait! Tons of kiddos for Isaac to play with!
While we were at my mom's house a couple of weeks ago, my cousin Janet did a photo shoot with the baby (as a baby shower gift to us!). She enjoys photography as a hobby and is really quite good! Isaac wasn't the most cooperative subject ever, but she did manage to get some cute shots.
And here's another one of our cutie pie! :)
10 weeks already! I can't believe it!
I'm smiling, he's cranky. LOL
Chillin' in the bouncey.
So happy to be showing of a new outfit from his Aunt Debbie :)
Not feeling 100% today :(
But, what's this? Mommy wants a smile?
Hmm...
Okay!
The dreaded day has come. Isaac has to get his 2 month immunization shots today. I'm so NOT looking forward to them at all. In fact, I'm fairly sure I'll cry right along with him. The sad part is that he has no clue about this afternoon's unfortunate events... while my stomach has been in knots all day just thinking about a nurse poking my baby with a needle (three times!).
Yesterday, while Josh was trying to take our picture... Isaac and I got the giggles. Isaac was laughing his butt off at how silly Josh was being trying to get him to smile for the camera. Then, after hearing the baby's contagious laughter, I chimed in, too.
Oh, how our little kiddo makes me smile everyday!
Three nights in a row now in the crib! 8 hours each time! We had a good weekend (in addition to the good sleep!), too. Saturday, we hung out at home and then on Sunday, we went to church, out to lunch, did some shopping, and had a quick visit with our neighbors who have a new baby as well.
We couldn't resist putting the hat that came with this outfit sideways.
You know, to go with our little ganster's "gang signs."
He didn't like the hat, though. ;) This is the face he makes right before he whines about something.
Laura let me borrow the blog to show our new car.... so, here is Josh's first post. I hope I don't disappoint the regulars with my car post.
We really like it. Our first road trip was to Grandma A's house. We even managed to bring the dogs.
Ours has the silverstone metallic paint. Laura liked the dark silver the best.
It has 16" Aluminum wheels.
Our litte station wagon. It is a 1LT with the 2.4L engine, Automatic.
I bought it on my birthday, right after signing the new job offer.
At home in the driveway. A brief rest, only 200,000 miles to go. It seems like everyone we talk to these days asks about our dogs. So, I thought I'd let you all know how Otto and Sophie are doing with a post! First of all, they are still doing very well with the baby. They both love to sneak kisses and sniff dirty diapers. We still love to spoil our mutts with tons of attention. They both seem to know that once Isaac is a sleep, I'm fair-game. They aren't stupid and rush over for cuddling, treats, and/or a trip outside to play once the kiddo is down for a nap. LOL They also love when Josh comes home from work and can give them some love.
That's Sophie Girl, way down the hill
Can you say spoiled? Yep, this was taken just a few weeks ago. Josh still manages to cuddle with the dogs now and then and they LOVE it, of course.
This is a hilarious picture I had to post. It's from when my mom brought her dogs Toby and Jacob (the black ones) to visit in December. My sister was giving them treats and all the dogs lined up in a row according to size on their own. ;)
This was last weekend at my mom's house.
Otto is a lazy guy.
While Soph's an attention hound and is constantly looking for love.
We took the Christmas tree out of the bay window and put a chair in it's place. The dogs still try to squeeze in for a view outside. As you can see, it's a tight fit.
Otto even naps there (He naps everywhere).
Mug shots. Sophie...
Otto
See? Life is still good for the dogs even after the baby. LOL
Otto hurt his paw outside this week and I made him wear a sock over it at first. It's getting better now... although he limps for sympathy (yet runs when he thinks we're not looking).
