36 Weeks

Isaac is now 36 weeks old~ 8 1/2 months!

Updates on my sweet boy:

* Growing like a weed and changing each and every day.

* Combining lots of babbles together instead of repeating the same one over and over. For instance, instead of "mamamammommomaa," he's saying things like, "mamuuumdadababaaaum." LOL Pretty impressive!

* Using that awful squeaky door type noise again along with a silly gargling in his his throat when he's playing.

* Walking forwards and backwards in his exersaucer and is making LOTS of progress with crawling! He motors going backwards now... he especially likes scooting on the hardwood floors because his big 'ole belly slides so nicely. Yep, still army crawling here. More leg action, though.

* Loves to stand assisted. Josh holds him up by his legs to help him balance and I'll help him hold onto the ottoman to "stand." (Oh, I forgot to mention the super nice ottoman I found at a yard sale for $10! Yahoo! I love bargains.)

* Working on sitting up from a laying down position. Watching him try so hard reminds why I hate crunches and sit-ups so badly.

* Eating solids very well! He's still more of a fruit lover. When he tries something he doesn't like, he'll cough through a few bites to make me happy. But, then he'll gag and refuse. He'll be trying carrots tonight.

* Closes books while I'm trying to read, dumps out buckets of blocks, flips toys upside down, etc. Any toy with wheels is a big hit around here right now and anything that makes noise, of course.
Enjoy the new pictures!!!

This face just lights my world with so much LOVE...
"Hmmm. How am I supposed to go forward?"
This outfit has a monkey on the front. I discovered it also has one on his BUTT. So, dork that I am... I had to take a picture of my little "monkey butt." LOL
"If only I could reeeeeeach that toy!"
Going backwards everywhere has it's cons. He got stuck under the entertainment center the other day!
Super sweet "Where did Isaac go?" picture
He's still laughing this week... not as much, though. His nose is just dripping like a faucet and he was up twice last night (Thankfully, he put himself back to sleep... whew!). Motrin is helping us get through this cold, for sure.
My cute naked baby
Thanks for checking in! More pictures to come soon... I'm so behind!

I love the stuck under the entertainment center picture. His expression is like how in the world did that get there. LOL

I sure hope he feels better soon.
