What A Day
We had a glorious Sunday! Our brother Dan and sister-in-law Kristi had invited us to Ashland. Her parents have a huge farm there. During the fall, they open up it to the public with hayrides, a corn maze, petting zoo for the kids, pumpkins galore, etc. They invited family and friends to come take part in the farm's activities and to also meet their new daughter, Scarlett.
Josh and I "oooohed" and "ahhhed" over the pretty fall leaves on the way.
Fall is here!
I was a picture-taking fool as normal, of course. The farm sold pumpkins, gourds, some local crafts, refreshments... and these beautiful mums.
The corn maze is like 8 acres and for older children and adults... it becomes "haunted" in the evenings. :)
Their property is just beautiful.
The weather was perfect... Isaac was so good and thought all the time spent with his daddy was a blast.
Look at that JOY in his face! He just loves to be tossed around. :)
This is our family's "self portrait."
We opted out of the hayride, but walked over to the pumpkin patch instead. Isaac kept smiling as we said, "Look, Punkin'! You're a Punkin in a pumpkin patch!" I myself, was looking for the Great Pumpkin and stopped to pose for a picture.
