Random thoughts about all the new stuff going around here:

*I brushed Isaac's tooth and gums for the first time yesterday. He licked the toothpaste (a fruity flavor) off and then tried to eat the brush. It slips over my finger like a thimble. Weird.

*We lowered Isaac's crib and are working on other safety measures like outlet covers, cabinet locks, and gates.

*Isaac is now getting solids three times a day! We started lunch this week. He eats breakfast, lunch, and dinner along with nursing about 6-7 times a day. Oink, oink! I tried peas for dinner last night again. I even bought fresh ones to steam and he still hated them. I plan to try brocolli next and start increasing his finger foods. He seems to do better with sippy cups without handles and loves to get "drinkers" of water all by himself.

*I've gotten into the storage containers of long sleeves and pants that we have for the baby. Oh, my! He has SO many cute things to wear already and tons to grow into. Although, I had to laugh at some of the tags, knowing Isaac's 9 month stats. Some that say 12 months list the weight as 20-24 lbs. or one even said 12-18 months 22-26 lbs. He's already 22 lbs 8 oz.!! LOL I am so thankful for my mom who buy his adorable clothes, both new and at garage sales. Thanks to those of you who bought the baby larger sizes at our baby showers, too. He'll be stylin'!

*Our bathroom renovation and patio are DONE. I do not have the time or patience today to do posts about them right now. But, I have lots of pictures to share soon. If you anxious to see before then, email me and I'll send you a sneak peek.
