40 Weeks

Isaac is now 40 weeks old! (The length of a full-term pregnancy. Kind of weird to think that he's been "out" that long now, too.)

Updates on our little monkey:

* Weighs 22 lbs. 8 oz. (80%), is 31" long (100%, tallest kid in the class), and his noggin is actually right in the middle at 28" (50%). I'll post about the doctor's visit tomorrow.

* Now feeding himself food! For the longest time, he would grab and hoard the fruit puffs in his hands. Saturday, Josh's mom fed him tiny bits of steak and what do you know! He was all about feeding himself a piece of steak. What a boy! Since then, he's been feeding himself little bits of food when I give him a chance to practice.

* Pulling to a kneeling position now, almost standing.

* Stacking two stacking cups together and also can put shapes into his shape sorter. Not just unstacking and dumping anymore! He's also really good at placing the balls in his dinosaur toy and will play with that for a long time on his own.

* Using his own hand to rub up and down against his lips to make that "bubububuuu" sound.

* Acting very squirmy these days because he has places to go! He's also extremely curious about everything.

* Laughs as he tries to steal the dogs' chewees. Little stinker!

He really loved the corn and is now eating corn puffs along with his fruit puffs. I think he just liked how much butter I put on my cob. ;)

This morning, he fell asleep after nursing. I plopped him on Josh. LOL That's his "snuggle blanket" he's using.
Maybe waking up at 5:10 in the morning isn't such a good idea after all, eh?
