Impromptu

Friday night, our power went out AGAIN. So, instead of waiting it out... we got adventurous. I packed up our things (using a flashlight) and we headed north to visit my mom and sisters. It was going to be a suprise. But, we didn't arrive until around 11 p.m. and I thought it would be nice to "ask" first. LOL

This is Josh and I snoozing on the couch in the morning. The late night trip threw our schedules off a bit and our little fam of three enjoyed a morning nap afterwards.... Isaac in the swing my mom bought him for at her house. Can you say spoiled? ;)
We had a FUN weekend with shopping and just overall visiting... hanging out, playing with the baby, and eating yummy food.
I brought the funny hat for Isaac's Aunt Chrissy to see in person. :)
It was good to see my sisters...

Ah, here's the new swing Grandma A picked out for Isaac. He made good use of it.
He also enjoyed all the extra attention... held and played with constantly, of course!

Lastly, I wanted to share this adorable picture below. I got a free photo book from Shutterfly, a photo printing place online, because I use them a lot to order pics. Anyway, I made a book for my mom from Isaac and she loved it! The last couple of pages were of the baby with a sign I made. Too cute!
