The 3 Month Pictures

Well, we did it. We took Isaac to get his pictures taken at Sears Portrait Studio on Saturday. I have mixed emotions about the whole experience. While I'm happy we tried it, I'm also a little bit disappointed in the outcome. If you visit my blog regularily, you know that Isaac LOVES to smile. The Sears photographer had a hard time getting him to smile, believe it or not. He blinked in the few big smile poses and I felt like she never really captured his adorable grin.

It was HOT and cramped in the studio and Isaac took a break for a diaper change and bottle. I spent way too much money on ordering pictures because I felt pressured. In the end... we got only two poses that I liked. I thought it would be SO hard deciding which pics to order, but it was really easy b/c only a couple actually turned out. I wasn't happy with the photographer (I know that can be kind of hit or miss, but she was crabby), the prices (I even came prepared with coupons), or the studio in general. I plan to take my own 3 month pictures sometime this week so I have some more of Isaac at this age.

Don't get me wrong, I DO like the pictures below, I just don't love them like I thought I would. I take much better pictures of my son. Anyway, the pictures are still good... they have to be, they are of our cutie pie! ;)

I loved the photos from Christmas. Didn't Becky take them? I felt the same way about my wedding photos. We payed buccu bucks for photos but I like the ones my friends and family took so much better. In fact the wedding photo we have on our wall was taken by my friend Mandy.

Yes, Beck took the Christmas pics.

I do think the Sears pics are cute, I just didn't love them enough to go back to the studio. You live and learn, I guess. :)

I understand. We felt the same about our Penney's experience. Our's felt so rushed too. Grumpy photographer.

I do think we take much better pictures and don't feel pressured on time or the wallet. LOL.

I do like the pictures you got. Like you said how can you not he is so adorable.
