Lights Out

Last night, we had a power outage. Lightening struck and 5,800 people in three counties north of Columbus were dark for about 3 hours. Luckily, we've been having warmer than normal temps. So, the house didn't get too cold. I bundled up Isaac anyway, threw a sweatshirt on, and cuddled with the mutts for warmth. We lit candles, listened to the radio, and played with the baby on the floor (Josh even put on a flashlight show for him and he loved it, LOL). The power came on just around 9 p.m. If it wasn't going to come back on for the night, we had plans to crash at our friend Aaron's house. He and his wife Christina live south of the outage. Anyway, that was the excitement.... candles and flashlights galore last night.

We have emergency dog warmers. They like to cuddle anyway.
