Week 37

Well... here we are! Onto week 37 already (almost 38 if I use the Nov. 30th due date)! It's so hard to believe that our little boy will be here so soon! I am feeling okay... sleeping well some nights and miserably the others. It is increasingly more difficult for me to maneuver myself around with this huge 'ole belly. Isaac has really made my ribs sore a couple of times with his swift kicks... I'm almost ready to "evict" him. LOL I'll be posting pics later today of the finished nursery... everything else is slowly but surely getting done.

Your Baby's Development:

Congratulations! Your pregnancy is now considered full term — meaning your baby is developmentally ready to handle life outside the womb. Now Baby weighs almost 6.5 pounds and his total length is about 21 inches long. But he hasn't stopped growing yet; he'll continue to develop about a half-ounce of fat a day. Still, overall growth does slow from here on out. That's fortunate, since there is very little available space left in the womb as it is.

Tips for making your pregnancy better:

Basically you are in a waiting game from this point on. However, just because you do not know when the big day will come, this does not mean that you cannot prepare now. If there are any last minute preparations that need to be completed before the arrival of your baby, now is a good time to finish these up.
