Weekly Update #52
Isaac is now one day shy of a year old!
Updates on the sweetie pie:
* Created a new, interesting way to babble this week. It's hard to describe, but he sticks his tongue out when he's doing it and it almost sounds like a forgein language. Josh and I just look at eachother, laugh, and say, "What is he saying?" I'm working on putting some videos together to post soon so you can see this crazy new talk. :)
* Extremely interested in the DOGS lately. He crawls right up to them and wants to touch them. Otto has gotten so much more comfortable with Isaac and Soph is nervous about the fast crawling/poking. This morning, Otto was in the front window and Isaac went over and grabbed the curtain. He covered Otto's face with it, quickly pulled it away, and then laughed hysterically! Oh, my! He was playing "peekaboo" with the dog! Hee, hee!
* Giving Josh and I lots of kisses lately. He is initiating "eskimo kisses" as well. If he puts his face right up next to mine really close and smiles, I know he wants to rub noses.
* Walking this week with his push toys. He's still not standing or walking on his own, but I'm not anxious for that. He's proven to be ALL boy so far and I know the walking will turn into running very quickly. I'll have my hands full then!
* Eating solid foods really well as usual. His favorites are Cheerios, pizza, cheese, pears, bananas, and carrots. We'll be introducing whole milk soon.
* Likes to clear tables and make huge messes with his toys... can't wait until he learns how to clean up his own toys (which he'll probably never do!).
* Enjoys "helping" me with the laundry. He takes the clothes I've already folded and either throws them on the floor or back into the baskets.
* Knows three body parts now (head, tummy, and nose) and can point them out on himself and on others.
* Having a blast with all his great new toys from his birthday. He loves playing with his animal magnets on the fridge (His fave is the duck and so I hear lots of "quacks" around here). We've watched the new dvd's and listened to the new cd's. He wore out the one battery on his Sesame Street doodle toy already and loves to read the interactive Pooh book. I can't forget to mention all the great gifts of money our lucky little fella' has in his piggie bank from his birthday. Thanks again, everyone!
* Has a great time reading books with us, especially books about trains with Josh. Josh whips out the wooden train whistle Grandma & Grandpa F made for sound effects. We went to the library this week and Isaac was sad when he had to give his book up to be checked out.
Enjoy the new pictures!!
A big hit!
"What? I wasn't going to climb on the dog bed..."
"Who's that cute baby, mommy?"
*kiss, kiss*
I caught another pouty lip on camera! Hee, hee! He was mad because I wouldn't let him play in the closet.
Can I help you, sir?
Hey, we only need ONE diaper, not 10!
Thanks for checking in!

The picture of Isaac with the diapers so reminded me of Chey. what cute stinker faces they have. LOL.
Good luck on figuring out Isaac's new language. Chey speaks Asian. LOL. We're still working on figuring it out. LOL.
I would love to hear his silly babbling!
