One Year Stats

As of yesterday, Isaac....

* Weighed 23 lbs. 8 oz. and
* Measured 31" tall

Our chunky monkey is finally thinning down because he's become so active. His weight is in the 65 percentile and his height is in the 8oth.

We met with Dr. Andy yesterday, a new doctor at the practice, and we like him a lot! He spent a lot of time with us going over Isaac's health and milestones. He was also great at answering all our questions. For those that remember how sad I was to leave our original Dr. M... Dr. Andy is a very good replacement. :)

Isaac is right on target with everything and is a very healthy little boy. I mentioned earlier that the appt. didn't go well and that was because there were two immunization shots. The nurse, Josh, and I all had to hold Isaac still for them. Our poor baby did the whole hold your breath and then SCREAM type of cry. He looked at the nurse as if to ask, "WHY did you do that to me?" and then at me as if to ask, "WHY did you let him do that to me?!" It was pretty rough and he was cranky for about an hour afterwards (until the birthday cake came around, actually... lol!). We're not looking forward to having his required blood draw for lead screening and his 2nd flu shot next week. Poor baby! :(
