39 Weeks
Isaac is 39 now weeks old!
Updates on the little man:
*Seems to be growing really fast these days. I swear, he gets a little bit taller each day. He's still wearing a lot of 6-9 month clothing. But, he also wears the 6-12 mon., 9-12 mon. and 12 mon. sizes as well. We'll know his stats next week when he goes to the doctor.
*Sleeping 8-9 hours a night in his crib like a good boy. We have decided to block our dogs off from coming upstairs. The noise they make during the night and their desire to get up super early was cutting Isaac's sleep short (and our's!).
*Napping pretty well now. Each day is a little bit different, but we are slowly starting to settle into a schedule. The great news is that he's napping twice a day IN his crib. I know he's getting more sleep than he has in a long time and that's great for his development. If he misses a nap, he'll get super cranky because his body expects the sleep. Each of his naps are at least and hour and sometimes over two!
*Talking and squealing a lot when he plays. He's been working on his "g" and "y" sounds and so he sounds like this a lot, "Gggggaaggayaaaaayehyeheyadadadaaaa!" I really need to upload some videos so you can hear how LOUD he screams sometimes and all the other silly noises he makes.
*Working on his pincher grasp, which allows him to pick up small items with his pointer finger and thumb. We work on it by eating fruit puffs after his oatmeal in the morning. They are the tiny cereal bites he loves so much.
*Still working on that 2nd tooth. I swear, he still has three very prominent bumps on along his gums from way back when the teething was so horrible. He has two bumps up top and then a bump next to his tooth on the bottom. I'm not holding my breath waiting for the 2nd tooth, though. It will probably take it's jolly good time like the last one. ;)
*Scooting around and walking really fast in his exersaucer. He loves to dangle linked toys over the edge and then drop them. Anything at all he can scoot to and discover, he's gotten to. FYI, the exersaucer is supposed to be stationary and just rotate in a circle. But, his super strong legs allow him to pull and scoot it around. LOL
Enjoy the new pictures!!!
Cute little smirk while eating
Adorable new outfit from Old Navy... thanks, Grandma!
STILL getting himself stuck under furniture! LOL
Earlier this week, the weather was nice. We spent lots of time enjoying the sun. Isaac likes to pick grass
and watch the dogs play!
"Ahh, sweet days of summer."
