Okay, Seriously

Not only is Isaac *still* only crawling backwards, he's now doing it while he's supposed to be SLEEPING! The last two days, he's woken us up at 5:15 a.m., up on all fours and smooshed in a corner of his crib. Naptime has been a little difficult, too. I go up to his room to find him up on all fours looking so frustrated because he can't go anywhere. Crawling is all he's wanted to do the last couple of days. We've got a very squirmy little boy on our hands. It's amazing how well he can get to his targets just by going backwards and sideways. He's gotten very good at going from sitting to crawling and crawling to sitting. Last Friday, he even started to pull up on toys so that he's on his knees. When we help him, he can hold onto furniture and stand without our help. I just wonder... will his walking start off backwards, too? LOL

Anyway, I'm pretty tired today and may or may not post more. We did have a very fun weekend with Josh's mom, and his sister and her family. I have lots of house-type pics to post as well from all our projects. For now, Isaac is napping and I'm awaiting a phone call from a friend who is supposed to stop by. I just hope Isaac stays put in that crib for a good, much-needed nap... the little stinker!

No, silly... he's waking up to practice crawling when he's really supposed to be sleeping. Then, he gets mad b/c he doesn't have much room or gets trapped. :(

Yes, he's YOUR'S. If he were mine, he'd sleep in on Monday mornings and take two huge naps a day.

I'm pretty sure he won't walk backwards, but you never know. LOL

He's hard a t work on his crawling skills for sure. I found Chey up on all fours and crying all the time when she first was learning to crawl. They just get so frustrated.

Its hard being a kid.

Practice crawling? Yup. Just wait until you get to practice walking. Make sure the floor around the crib is padded. I speak from experience...

Go, Isaac, go!
