Before

I'm sorry it's taken awhile for me to update you on the whole "Let's pull up the carpet!!" story I posted a long time ago.

For reference, here is a picture of our living room as it looked during Christmastime... fully carpeted (and crowded with people and dogs).
The carpet we had was sooooo gross, just nasty. It was stained and we couldn't wait to get rid of it.
Lucky for us, we had hardwood floors hiding underneath the yucky carpet. Our house was built in the 1890's.
Josh worked extremely hard and managed to pull up almost all of the carpet up in one evening. He finished the rest the following day!
Next came all the staple and tack strip pulling... tons of hard work!
Needless to say, our main living space was quite the disaster for a few days.
But, we were so happy the floors looked good!
