The (Isaac) Truman Show

Yesterday at the mall, as we were turning a corner in Sears... we ran into one of my former bosses. Chris is a principal at one of the schools where I taught. Her reaction was hilarious as she met Isaac for the first time. She said, "Oh! Hi, I see your pictures on the computer all the time!" We laughed as she told us that she and my friend Cathy, a teacher's aide, keep up to date on the baby through the blog. I knew Cathy visited the site, but I was surprised about Chris! I haven't seen her in over two years or even talked to her. So, that was pretty funny to hear.

That brings me to the point of this post. Josh jokingly calls the blog "The Truman Show" sometimes. You know, that Jim Carrey movie where he doesn't know his whole life is a tv show. LOL Anyway, we got to talking about ALL the people who come to our blog that we don't even realize and how Isaac is a superstar because of the site. I told him about my friend Angela's coworkers who met Isaac at her bridal shower. They recognized him from the blog and were excited to see him "in person." Then, I told him about how Isaac's Great Grandma F and some of our neighbors visit the site, too. It's kind of hard to account for all my viewers because so many of you do not comment. I guess a lot of you tell me in person, via email, or on the phone what you think of the latest pictures and I appreciate that too. Sometimes on days when I wonder if anyone even cares if I post, I'll get someone saying, "Hey! You need a new post on your blog!"
