The Plan
I've had a lot of phone calls and questions about HOW the big news will be spread once Isaac is born.... so, I thought I'd share my plan with you! Josh has a "To Call List" I packed for him in the hospital bag. He'll be calling all our parents and siblings. It will be up to them to pass along the big annoucement to grandparents, aunts/uncles, etc. News travels pretty quickly on Josh's side of the family thanks to Dan and his cell phone. I'm sure my mom and sisters won't be shy about announcing from the hilltops either. LOL
Anyway, my plan for letting the internet world know of Isaac's birth is complex. Josh will be calling my very good friend Jessica from the hospital and she will do a post about Isaac's arrival on the blog (Thank you, Jess... seen on the left here, Steph on the right). As promised, you will also receive an email shortly after Isaac is born. My sister Chrissy will be sending that out when she comes back to stay at our house. I added Jess to the plan because depending on the weather, my family may or may not be able to make it for the birth. They live in the snowbelt on Lake Erie and get swamped with huge snow storms all winter (I was actually born during a blizzard there). I know they will make it here just as soon as they can, of course! Also, the first friend from our MSN board who hears the good news will do a post on the board.Lastly, there is a website that will post Isaac's hospital picture after he is born. I think the website takes a few days to update and you'll have to allow a new "pop up" window to open in order to see the baby pics. Go here and on the left-hand side, choose the category "New Babies." Click "Show the babies" and a list of names will come up. Hopefully, you'll be able to see a picture of our little guy on the website! If not, we'll be posting pictures like crazy soon enough on the blog!
That's the plan, Stan. :)
