25 Weeks

I'm sorry this week there aren't any pictures to go along with this update. :(

Isaac is now 25 weeks old!!

Updates on the cutie pie:

* Weighs 20 lbs., measures 27" long, wears size 4 diapers, and must have had a major grown spurt because he's wearing almost ALL 6-9 month clothing now!

* Said his FIRST WORD! Of course he doesn't know what it means yet, but Isaac has been saying "Ma, ma!" I didn't want to admit it at first because the date yesterday was 6/6/06 and our little growler was saying it in between growls. LOL He's said it in his normal babbling voice now, though and that makes it more official. Sometimes he doesn't quite do two "ma's" and it comes out like "mom." Super cool!

* Loves to laugh at us when we make silly noises or use silly voices.

* Goes from Mr. Fussypants to Mr. Smileypants when I sing "Old MacDonald" or "Bingo."

* Still not a great napper by any means, but I've decided to not stress out about it anymore. I hated feeling like I spent all day trying to put him to sleep. Now, naps come when they are needed and we are both happier. It's been great to be able to put him down with a walk in his stroller if that's what needs to happen. He's still sleeping 8-9 hours a night in his crib.

* Will start eating solid food officially very soon. For now, he likes to taste test table food. Josh discovered that the baby likes pickles yesterday! Eww! (I hate pickles)

* Loves to watch the dogs play... cheap entertainment.

* Hates tummy time and will whine about it... then roll over so that he's back on his back. Stinker!

* Starting to show more signs of stranger anxiety and attachment to me.

* Jumps and jumps all day long in his Jumperoo... his favorite toy of all time.
