Yuck
No posts for a couple of days while I deal with Isaac's first cold! We are assuming he picked it up from his cousin Rachel while she was here because we just found out she also got Isabella sick. D'oh! Her mommy thought it was just allergies. Anyway, wiping Isaac's runny nose and suctioning his snot with the nasal bulb is SO not fun. Poor little guy! He slept horribly last night and I'm also very tired. Hopefully, this doesn't last long because there's not much you can do for a baby but let the cold run it's course. :( I am giving him infant Tylenol and we will probably use a humidifier and Vick's vapor rub for his cough tonight. He hated the saline nose drops and they didn't seem to make a difference. The good thing is that he hasn't had a fever yet and is still in a pretty decent mood. He's not 100% his smiley, happy self, though... and that makes me sad.
**Update: I'm sick now, too. :(

Poor little guy, we just went through that. It's no fun! Eventually the Saline worked, I would suction a bit first then give the nose a squirt to loosen the rest, Chey started to love the saline, it probably felt good.
Good Luck give him lot's of hugs from us.
Oh I forgot to mention, I also gave Chey vapor baths. They sell it in the baby isle with the baby wash. It's by Johnsons, called soothing vapor bath. That not only soothed her but help clear the nose a bit. We also have a wedge in her crib that seems to help a bit.
I know the nights are tough, hopefully you will be able to get in some naps.

Been there. Isabella came home with a nasty cold. I've been fighing bronchitis. We have all ben miserable. Hang in there. It does get better!
