18 Weeks

Isaac is now 18 weeks old!

Updates on our little (err, big) guy:

* Weighs 17 lbs.!! Yep, you read that correctly. He got weighed today at the doctor's office. He gained 4 lbs. in 2 months. The nurse called him a "little porker." Hee, hee!

* Measures in at 26" long, he grew two inches in 2 months! Both his height and weight measurements put him in the 75-90 percentile.

* Enjoyed his doctor's visit very much. Dr. M said he looks great and is right on track developmentally. Isaac "talked" to him and gave him a few smiles. Both Dr. M and the nurse said he looks just like Josh.

* Loves to laugh at his new puppets. Josh makes funny voices for them and Isaac thinks it's hilarious!

* Still sleeping well at night... and again, both the doc and nurse told me how truly lucky I was to have him sleeping such big stretches already. Naptime is going... okay. Not terrible, not great. LOL It doesn't help when Isaac smiles at me when he's supposed to be sleeping or the opposite and cries and fights sleep even though he's obviously tired.

* Getting way too big for his infant carseat (we use it while shopping and out to eat) and his infant bathtub.

* Becoming more distracted while eating... he'll look away to watch the dogs play or see what's on tv. As you can tell, he's still eating plenty, though. ;)

* Wearing size 3 diapers and get this.... into some 6-9 month clothing already!! Yikes! He's still wearing mostly 3-6 month, though.
