Two Mutts and A Baby
A few of you have been asking about how our dogs have been doing with the baby. So, I thought I'd share a few pictures with you and let you know how things are going.
Sophie meets Isaac for the first time
Otto's turn (sniff, sniff)
The double sniff... can be a bit overwhelming especially if someone sneaks a lick!
Both dogs are "dirty diaper hunters." Soph will actually come back and check the baby's diaper after we've changed him to make sure he's clean... LOL
We've dubbed Sophie "Nurse Sophie" because she is very protective of Isaac. She comes running like a mad woman if she hears him cough or make any sort of unusual sound. She was not a fan of his early wailing when he first came home, though (She would go hide in her crate). Now, she just loves to check up on him.
The dogs have been pretty good about the decreased amount of attention.... we try to give them love whenever we get a few extra minutes. Otto's the more impatient one if he has to wait for food or to be let outside. Overall, I'd say the dogs are doing very well with the drastic change of lifestyle in our house. Isaac isn't afraid of their big noses right in his face or their loud barks... he's a brave little boy.

Very good. Isaac I'm sure got use to hearing their barks while in the womb. Glad they are all good friends
I'll say he's brave...they scare me!
I'll bet Nurse Sophie is doing a great job! :)
