Quick Check-in

Just checking in quickly to let everyone know that we are doing very well! It is currently 9:52 p.m.... I'm finally catching a few minutes online (Still haven't had time to respond to any emails... sorry!). Josh and Isaac are both enjoying naps... the new daddy on the couch and the baby in his bouncey seat next to the computer. In about a half an hour, I'll be at my "nursing station" ready to feed our hungry, growing boy. I am feeling okay for those who have asked... we are all of course exhausted, but just SO HAPPY!! The sleep deprivation has been the worst and of course the recovery from my labor and delivery. I'm still taking pain meds and get my stitches out Wednesday. Josh has been AMAZING through all of this... working non-stop to help out wherever and whenever needed.

Isaac goes for his first doctor's appointment tomorrow and had some bloodwork done to check for jaundice toay. He's is a very good baby although he can be stubborn and shows a temper at times. LOL He passed his hearing test, his APGAR scores were 8 and 9, and he goes to anyone with warm, cozy arms. ;) He cries when he's cold, while getting his diaper changed (very sensitive due to his circumsion), or when he's frustrated with nursing. We love the fact that he is a cuddly baby and he is very alert with open, inquisitive eyes. Thanks for stopping by to see how we are doing!
