Artsy Fartsy

This week, I have been using my artistic skills to paint some items for the nursery walls. Josh made a sign for me to paint... I used the room colors and the same font as the border to paint the word "dream" and added a few wooden stars. I think it turned out pretty well! Next, I have this ceramic piece that I painted at one of those "do-it-yourself" pottery shops SO long ago (way before we were even pregnant and I was already wanting to make something for the nursery! hee, hee). Josh made a frame for that and I painted it blue to match the room. Lastly, my work in progress... I have these three little stars I sewed with the room's fabric. I am going to hang them from this peg board Josh made. So, I'm working on painting that, adding some stars and then rigging up the hanging stars with little cords I braided. Fun, fun! Who needs to buy artwork for the walls when Josh and I can make it? ;)
