For a long time, I didn't like going out in public because I was paranoid that people were looking at me and wondering... "Hmmmm, is she pregnant or just chubby?" I would try to wear maternity clothing that
really emphasized my stomach even if it wasn't all that big yet. Now that I've really started to show, it's now obvious to the average Joe in public. For example, at church last Sunday... the eldery couple in front of us: While shaking the older man's hand, he looked at my face, looked at my stomach, back at my face, and then smiled. While that would normally be an awkward sort of thing to have happen... it seemed completely normal because, "YES, folks, I'm pregnant!"

At least you are pg. In the last year I've gained quite a bit of weight, there's a lady that I work with that not only tells me I'm pg, but after I reasure that I'm not, she tells me I'm fat (yes, she actually says that) and that I need to slow down!
How rude! Sorry, Kelly! :(
so funny....it made me giggle.
Doesn't it feel good when they know you are not just fat, but actually pregnant?
I swear the nurse manning the ob wing's triage area first asked me who I was there to visit. My boobs masked my pregnancy for a LONG time.
